ROUTE

OVERVIEW

The 100km route is an arduous walk, it will test your strengths and push you to your limits. This route is not for the faint hearted, to do this walk will take pure grit and determination and alot of prior training and preparation.

 

The terrains you will cover include: Tracks, paths, fields, rivers, marshes and more.

These varied terrains will increase the difficulty of the walk depending on weather but the rewards are well worth the effort.

The overall ascent is 6,584ft and descent is 6,525ft. 

The scenery of this route are some of the UK's finest and most beautiful.

 

The event is well supported by the Outpost and other volunteers who will be on hand to help with anything you need.

 

There will be water and snacks available at every checkpoint along the way with more substantial food at specific checkpoints and finish line.

 

Please consider carefully whether this challenge is for you before you register, if you feel its not why not try our 50km instead.

The 50km route is scenic and tranquil and is not as arduous as the 100km but will still push you throughout. It is a very achievable walk yet still a challenge for the average person. This walk is very rewarding and self satisfying on route.

The overall ascent is 4,156ft and descent is 3,520ft.

The scenery of this route is amazing!!

As with the 100km there will be well manned checkpoints fully stocked with food and water.

Please consider carefully whether this challenge is for you before you register, if you think you have what it takes do the 100km in 24 hours why not take on the 100km challenge?.
