Communication Support is a provision that is available to help members of the Armed Forces Community who are in need due to financial difficulties, to ensure communications are maintained with medical professionals, benefits, housing or other organisations for support. We understand that many Veteran who through their social circumstance and/or mental health illnesses also need means of staying in touch with the outside world and our communications support can assist.
The communication support we may be able to provide covers the following to ensure you stay connected:
- House Phone - where needed we may be able to help by making payment to your current service provider to ensure you do not get cut off.
- Internet - we may be able to help by making payment to your current service provider to ensure you do not get cut off.
- We have a small Bank of Mobile Phones with Credit - Phones can vary in spec and network. Our phone bank is made up of phones donated to us which are in good condition. They all undergo a hard reset and come with a new sim card and accessories.
- Mobile Top-Ups - we may be able to provide you with a top-up by voucher or automatic top-up depending on individuals plans. For those on contract any support payment would be made direct to your network provider.
As with all our support there are limits to what we can provide, this will be discussed with you after your application is processed and approved.
